Whitney is a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst in Appleton’s Fixed Income Department. She is responsible for researching securities, analyzing portfolio structure, and executing trades in support of the firm’s Municipal Bond products. Additionally, she oversees the initial portfolio restructuring effort when new accounts are opened with existing bonds. Whitney is also a member of the Fixed Income Research Team and the Fixed Income Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Appleton in 2003, Whitney held various positions with the Trustees of Reservations. Whitney is a CFA® charterholder. She is also a member of the CFA Institute, National Federation of Municipal Analysts, and the Boston Municipal Analyst Forum

Whitney lives with her husband and two daughters in Dedham, MA. She is actively involved in her community serving as Director of the Dedham Girls Lacrosse Program and as a member of the Dedham Youth Hockey board. She enjoys coaching her daughters’ teams, traveling and outdoor adventures with her family.
