Shari Reiches

We work collaboratively with our clients to maximize their return on life. We design a customized, comprehensive financial roadmap to help navigate their most crucial financial decisions. We utilize academically proven investment strategies with low cost, tax efficient Index funds. The result is a long-term solution, which is aligned with our clients' core values.

Prior to founding Rappaport Reiches Capital Management, Shari was a vice president at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc., where she worked as a financial adviser. Prior to that, she worked for U.S. Bank and its predecessor institutions, eventually managing the Chicago Region of Private Banking for U.S. Bank. Shari started her working career auditing financial institutions at Arthur Andersen & Co.

Shari is a board member and Vice Chair of the Illinois State Board of Investments (ISBI) which manages over $15 billion of investments for three Illinois pension funds. She serves on the Executive Committee, the Audit & Compliance Committee, the Emerging Manager Committee and the Investment Policy Committee.

Shari has been active in many civic organizations including the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, the Chicago Foundation for Women, the Standard Club, Beth Emet Synagogue and the Medical Research Institute Council (now known as the Children’s Research Fund).

Shari lives in Evanston with her husband Stephen and is very proud of her two daughters Madeleine and Isabel. Shari enjoys working out at 6 am Boot Camp with her friends, Cycling (trying to keep up with her husband), playing bridge and spending time with her family.
