As Director of Investments, Robert Calabretta brings over 25 years of institutional investment experience to the Coastline team, where he heads the Investment Committee. Robert began his career in New York with Morgan Stanley. He has since held positions in proprietary trading and portfolio management at Morgan Stanley Tokyo, Deutsche Bank, and Waypoint Capital.

Robert holds a B.S. in finance and accounting from Washington and Lee University.

Mr. McGowan joined Azimut from Invesco Private Capital, the $1 billion private equity and venture capital fund-of-funds and solutions arm of Invesco (NYSE: IVZ).

Prior to Invesco, Mr. McGowan was at OC Private Capital, a joint venture between The Carlyle Group and OppenheimerFunds, the advisor to a $1 billion close-ended interval fund focused on private credit.
Prior to this role, Mr. McGowan held other roles at OppenheimerFunds, AI Insight, and Altegris Investments.
Mr. McGowan earned a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations.
