Mr. Nixon is a Managing Director and Partner with over ten years of real estate development and investing experience. He co-manages the Debt Fund and has been instrumental in helping while at Sundance Bay; he has helped grow the Debt Fund from $15M to over $850M in AUM, and Prior to joining Sundance Bay, he worked as a Sr. Associate in McKinsey and Company’s Houston office where he advised PE funds on investment strategy, developed and standardized operational controls at large infrastructure firms, designed construction and real estate investment strategy for a leading hospital chain, and redefined risk protocols for numerous Fortune 500 companies. Before McKinsey, Mike worked as a project manager for KBR, a leading Engineering and Construction firm. His work focused mainly on infrastructure and large oil and gas projects with worldwide scope and reach. Mike holds a degree in Business and Russian from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
