Mike Boroughs, CFA, CPA is the President of the Fortis Financial Group, a Bellevue-based RIA with ~$500 million in AUM. At Fortis, Mike oversees the wealth management business, leads growth efforts across multiple business lines, maintains key relationships for the firm, is a member of the firm’s investment committee, and manages a handful of investment strategies for the Fortis clients. Prior to co-founding Fortis, Mike was an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Glacier Peak Capital, helping manage two discretionary hedge fund portfolios. Mike played a key role in launching Glacier Peak Capital as a spinoff from Summit Capital Group, where he formerly worked as an Equity Analyst. Prior to Summit, Mike was an auditor for Ernst & Young LLP where he earned his CPA designation. Mike graduated as valedictorian from the University of San Diego.
