Michele has been with Appleton since 1995 in a variety of functions. In her role as Acting Co-Chief Operating Officer, she works in conjunction with Bob Krantz in the day-to-day management of the company and the firm’s development initiatives.. Michele serves as Director of Human Resources, Treasurer, and is a member of the firm’s Risk and IT Committees, as well as Appleton’s Advisory Board of Directors.

Michele was with Citicorp Italy in their consumer finance division prior to joining Appleton and has more than 30 years of diverse experience in client service, sales and overall business management. Michele earned her Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) designation and actively furthers her professional training in investment management compliance and human resources management.

When “off-duty,” Michele can be found enjoying the company of her garden, two horses and grandchildren. She enjoys cooking for her family and strength sports. Michele and her husband have four children, live in Cohasset, MA, and co-manage the town’s Farmer’s Market.
