Dennis Follmer is the Chief Investment Officer of Montis Financial. Dennis’ primary responsibilities include leading Montis’ investment and portfolio management process, developing market-related thought leadership content, supporting business development efforts, and participating on the leadership team.

Over the last 30 years, Dennis has garnered extensive investment, portfolio management, tax management, and leadership experience. Prior to joining Montis, he was the Head of Portfolio Management at 55ip, a subsidiary of JPMorgan Asset Management that provides tax-management of model portfolios and separately managed accounts (SMAs) for wealth managers across the country. Earlier in his career, Dennis worked in the alternative asset management space, including as a founding partner of Oceanwood Capital Management, a $2 billion spin-off from Tudor Investment Corp, where he managed event-driven strategies.

Dennis received an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Miami University.
