Ben began his financial advising career in 2001 just after graduating from Baylor University, where he majored in Financial Services and Planning. He grew up with an entrepreneurial spirit and was fascinated with the world of finance. This led to many childhood business ventures and several internships with financial advisors.

At age 23 Ben became one of the nation’s youngest Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certificants. He has since accumulated several additional certifications: Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor℠ (APMA®).

As a managing partner, Ben leads business strategy at Hilltop Wealth Advisors. After becoming one the top franchises at a national firm, Hilltop successfully transitioned to form a fully independent RIA in 2016. Hilltop has since been recognized as one of the “fastest-growing RIAs in America” – Citywire RIA 2021

Ben also serves as an advisor for many of Hilltop’s high net worth clients and business owners. Practical and detail-oriented, he takes a methodical approach to wealth management.

Ben is a proud Texan – he played goalkeeper for the Baylor Bears soccer team, follows the Dallas Cowboys year-round, and takes his brisket and fantasy football maybe a little too seriously. He and his wife, Leah, love to travel, exploring everything from national parks to amusement parks with their two children, Tyler and Ava.
